      Memorial Church of the Nativity - the first monument of the Bulgarian-Russian friendship in Bulgaria. Located on the south side of the Shipka Pass, near the town of Shipka.

      Inside the temple, and on the walls of the open galleries are 34 marble slabs with the names of the military units that participated in the battles for Shypku, as well as the names of Russian soldiers and officers, the Bulgarian volunteers who died in the defense of Shipka and the battles around cities of Kazanlak and Stara Zagora. In the sarcophagus in the crypt of the church houses the remains of heroes. Bells cast in Russia - in their production Russian Defense Ministry has allocated about 30 tons of spent cartridges.
